The Nationals' bats remained hot against the Cardinals Friday night, but pitching was truly the name of the game. Hayes started out strong with 3 up-3 down against a tough Cards top of the line-up to set the tone for this battle. TIGERS advance to FINAL FOUR with 16 - 4 win over the RANGERS. TIGERS get off to quick start with Carter Dewees making nice catch in left field in top of 1st and holding RANGERS scoreless. Howle / Will Piet lead off bottom of 1st with back / back singles and come around to score to make it 2-0 in 1st. Duckett was solid on mound and goes 2.2.
