From the Coach:
WOW what a come back win for the Giants over a very good River Bandits team. Ben Murphree was a very solid leader with an impressive 4-4 night at the plate and three very good innings of pitching, Jack Dey and James Hancock played vital roles in pitching support coming in after Murphree. Hinton Livings was equally as impressive at the plate with 4 hits. The 7-8-9 and 10 place hitters were a combined 7-12 on base performance. Jake Fowler had RBI's in the 4th inning to put the GIants back on top and then finally had a game winning RBI driving in Ben Murphree. Any win is a good win but the comeback and never give up spirit of this team was most impressive. This is a long week of baseball and every member of our team will be critical to our success. A great way to kick off our season!!
