Vestaviavillage was created for a youth league baseball  group in Vestavia 2008.  The site was born to make our league spirited and a place to reference anytime through the years of good 'ole Youth League...- the site is growing each year within other age groups.  Vestaviavillage is set up for user friendly for all Coaches and Team Mothers to use throughout the baseball season.

1) Have their own team page with notes about past game or pre game needs.  (records, schedules, and scores)

2) Pictures for memories that will always be here through the years.  A nice platform to share pictures among teams and parents

3) A team mother note area reminding the teams for any needs

1) Selects a person from each age group to do write ups, provide rankings that keep the competitiveness and fun going (and boiling!).  Weekly changes in rankings based on performance, weekly updates on certain great plays, hits or highlights are just a few things that Dugout village has in store for this coming 2009 season.

New additions to the site for 2009

1) Rosters and top 3 stats displayed at Coaches request.  WIth all the totals creating a top 20 stat report for the league

2) Baseball cards for each kid that will display their team , jersey number and a few fun questions that they answer (their first Baseball card!)

3) Surveys and a platfrom to ask questions, chat and show spirit for the love of this game.   

Vestaviavillage is to make our years at the park memorable and all in fun.  I hope everyone takes this the right way and hopes it makes the season even better......
